'PYAZZ' ONION COOKER
The 'Pyaaz' Cooker is a bronze replica of my grandmother’s cooking vessel from her maiden home. Cooking a staple North Indian lunch of rice, lentils, and dry vegetables is a ritual that connects her to her roots. This vessel, with its braid-like woven texture and puzzle pieces on the surface, symbolizes old connections and the process of "fitting in" as life is uprooted and restarted at in-laws' homes.
MATERIAL - bronze
TECHNIQUE - resin based enamelling
DESCRIPTION - The Pyaaz Cooker is a bronze replica
